Effective July 1, 2026, Rainer Kiefer has handed over the operational management of the INEX Group to Tharcisse Carl. At a joint event, GESCO Board Member Johannes Pfeffer honored Kiefer's achievements, who has significantly shaped the development of HUBL and later the INEX Group for more than two decades.
LEADERSHIP CHANGE AT THE INEX GROUP
During an informal gathering on June 30, 2026, Johannes Pfeffer, Board Member of GESCO SE, praised the long-standing managing director for his extraordinary commitment and his sustainable contribution to the development of the corporate group. Numerous colleagues from the GESCO headquarters and the subsidiaries took the opportunity to personally thank him for the trustworthy collaboration and his long-standing dedication.
From Sales Professional to Shaper of a Corporate Group
Rainer Kiefer joined HUBL GmbH in 2003 to strengthen sales. Shortly thereafter, he took on additional responsibilities as an authorized signatory and became the managing director of HUBL GmbH in 2007, succeeding the company founder Reinhard Hubl.
Under his leadership, HUBL continuously evolved from a classic stainless steel manufacturer to a recognized development partner and assembly supplier for demanding industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, semiconductors, and the food industry.
With the founding of INEX – solutions GmbH in 2022, Rainer Kiefer additionally took over the management of the holding company and actively shaped the organizational development of the corporate group.
Growth through Innovation and Partnership
During his tenure, Rainer Kiefer set numerous strategic impulses. These included the consistent expansion of engineering expertise, the exploration of new technologies, and the development of innovative proprietary products.
In-house developments such as the Filter Fan Unit, the Brewing System, or the Agnotainer® exemplify the ambition to offer customers not only high-quality stainless steel products but also well-thought-out and future-oriented solutions.
Equally important to him was the intensive exchange with customers, research institutions, universities, and his personal network. New ideas and market impulses regularly found their way into the company.
Leadership with Trust
In addition to his professional strengths, Rainer Kiefer was particularly appreciated for his cooperative leadership style. He provided strategic guidelines, trusted the competence of his executives and employees, and created space for independent work.
His pronounced communication skills, confident demeanor, and ability to develop viable solutions even in challenging customer situations made him a valued contact for customers, business partners, and shareholders over many years.

In his speech, Johannes Pfeffer praised the successful development of the companies under the responsibility of Rainer Kiefer as well as his high personal commitment to customers, employees, and the long-term future of the corporate group.
Continuity for the Future
With the handover of operational management to Tharcisse Carl, a new chapter begins for the INEX Group. At the same time, valuable knowledge is retained: Rainer Kiefer will continue to accompany the company in certain areas with his long-standing experience, supporting a smooth transition.
