Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with national and international customers
  • Regular customer visits and conducting presentations to introduce and sell tailored solutions.
  • Processing and qualifying incoming customer inquiries to create suitable solutions and offers.
  • Creating and presenting offers considering customer requirements and technical specifications.
  • Conducting active and intensive follow-ups on submitted offers to increase the closing rate and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting or leading contract negotiations to successful completion, including ensuring competitive prices and conditions.
  • Close collaboration with the design department for technical support and implementation of customer requirements.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and professional follow-up after contract completion.
     


Your Profile:   

  • Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification such as technician training 
  • Professional experience in the sales of technical solutions, preferably in the metal or plant industry
  • Proven success in acquiring and managing customers and in conducting contract negotiations.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to analyze market trends and competitive activities and derive appropriate sales strategies from them.
  • Ability to develop and implement customer- and market-oriented solutions.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to clearly and convincingly convey complex technical and economic relationships.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to speak to various target audiences.
  • High self-motivation and result orientation with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and approach.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented working style as well as the ability to succeed in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work successfully in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to support customers nationally and internationally.
